We’ve got another guest post babes! I am so so so honored to have Sarah, from A Woman’s Confidence, giving a beauty review here on my blog!
A Women’s Confidence is a makeup and skincare blog run by Sarah. Sarah is from Leicester, England and let me just tell ya, she’s a sweetheart. She’s also beautiful and her blog is a great place to go if you’re looking for reviews on all things beauty. (I loved reading her review on The Huda Beauty The New Nude Eyeshadow Palette and the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate).
Sarah works as a content writer and editor, (which makes sense because her writing is amazing!), and when she isn’t blogging she enjoys gaming. Also, and very important, she’s scared of blue whales!
I am so very excited for this guest post because I’ve been dying to try out some Fenty Beauty products, (I know, how can I even call myself a beauty blogger if I’ve never even been in the same room as a Fenty Beauty product?), and Sarah has reviewed the Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint in Uncuffed.
Wanna know if Fenty Beauty lives up to the hype? Keep reading babe.
Fenty Beauty Uncuffed Review |
Guest Post by A Woman’s Confidence
First of all, Fenty Beauty is amazing. It has won a lot of awards and really changed the makeup industry by being inclusive to women of all color, which is admirable.
When I bought this, one of the things that stood out to me was the packaging. It’s really original and instantly memorable. I’d actually say it almost looks more like a nail varnish than a lipstick, but I like that. I don’t see much differentiation in lipstick packaging and the Fenty Stunna Lip Paint immediately stands out. I really like this.
After trying the color out on myself, I absolutely love it! It’s a soft and glamorous pinky/purple tone, which I feel complements any look beautifully. It’s also a color I’ve not seen before, so that’s a bonus, (unlike all the other lipsticks I buy, where all the nudes are basically identical to one another).
But yes, Uncuffed is everything, I love it!
My only two issues with the Stunna Lip Paint are the applicator and the formula.
The formula is pretty runny, which means that it can be a bit tricky to apply and equally as easy to make mistakes. I found that I had to apply this lightly and with caution, which isn’t the end of the world, but it would be better if it wasn’t so liquid-y.
Paired with a chunky applicator, the lipstick can get messy. I don’t find the larger applicator an issue until you get to the corners of your mouth or the cupid’s bow, where it then can be quite difficult to get the lipstick neatly.
However, this isn’t the end of the world, you just need to apply the lipstick with some caution and it’s fine.
So..is it worth it?
I love the Uncuffed lipstick and I think the color and packaging is simply stunning. I would thoroughly recommend this shade to anyone.
The lipstick stays on very well and never goes on patchy. I’ve tried the shade Uncensored and that performed equally as well and stayed on for ages, keeping it’s strong red shade. So, I can vouch for the fact that it isn’t just Uncuffed that’s great!
