What Is True Botanicals?
True Botanicals is a truly unique skincare company. Known for their high quality products that target specific skin concerns, they also ensure that every ingredient used is natural and safe.
The luxurious skincare products from True Botanicals are free from 5,000+ known toxic ingredients, so you can actually feel really good about what you’re putting on your skin. True Botanicals is a cruelty-free and environmentally friendly company. They do no animal testing, and all of their products are vegan.
As far as products go, True botanicals has something for everyone! They offer products that fight aging skin, acne, dryness, sensitive skin, and more. You’ll also find skincare products that are pregnancy-safe! Another super important thing to note, True Botanicals has done clinical trials on their products, so they’re proven to work.
But do they actually work? Let’s find out!
The Products
When True Botanicals reached out to me to review their products, I had the option to pick a bundle based on my own skin concerns. I was allowed to choose from three bundles. The Renew Duo, which focuses on anti-aging. The Clear Trio, which helps clear breakouts. Or the Mask Bundle, which features three full-sized masks that exfoliate, detox, and hydrate skin.
I’ve dealt with severe cystic acne in the past which has now cleared, (yay!). But I still deal with random breakouts every once in a while. I no longer get cystic acne, but due to how oily my skin is, I still breakout more frequently than I’d like. I decided to give the Clear Trio a go with one thought in mind: “Maybe it’ll be the thing to finally clear my skin up once and for all?!“
The Clear Trio from True Botanicals comes with the Clear Nourishing Cleanser, the Clear Pure Radiance Oil, and the Clear Repair Serum.
Clear Nourishing Cleanser
The True Botanicals Clear Nourishing Cleanser is a non-drying cleanser that deep cleans skin but keeps it hydrated at the same time. The Clear Nourishing Cleanser has a number of beneficial and natural ingredients in it. Green and white tea helps sooth skin, is anti-inflammatory, and has plenty of skin-healthy antioxidants. It also has black willow bark extract that helps naturally exfoliate skin. Also included is helichrysum, which not only has antibacterial and antifungal properties, but also helps calm skin and minimize scars.
After just one use of the Clear Nourishing Cleanser, I was hooked. Every time I use it my skin feels so clean. This cleanser is naturally scented and smells so good! But it’s non-irritating, even for my super sensitive skin, and it never makes my skin feel dry or tight. Instead, my skin is left feeling hydrated, with no excess oil. The Clear Nourishing Cleanser from True Botanicals has become a definite staple in my skincare routine, and is quickly becoming one of my favorite skincare products ever!
Clear Pure Radiance Oil
The Clear Pure Radiance Oil from True Botanicals combats both acne and aging, all in one bottle! Skin is left feeling smooth, hydrated, and healthy thanks to hemp, pumpkin, and grape seed oils. Helichrysum helps minimize acne scars, and algae extract improves elasticity and stimulates collagen production. Plus super hydrator squalane keeps skin moisturized and oils at bay.
As an oily-skinned girl, I used to shy away from face oils. But seriously, biggest mistake ever. Face oils can be extremely beneficial to those with oily skin, especially when formulated with skin-healthy ingredients, like this one! When I use the True Botanicals Clear Pure Radiance Oil my skin truly feels healthy and hydrated. I’ve also noticed less breakouts and improvements in older acne scars. I’m a major fan of this product because it contains one of my favorite skincare ingredients ever, squalane, which has always been really good to my sensitive, oily, and acne-prone skin! After using this face oil for a month, and already loving the results, I can’t wait to see even more improvements in my skin!
Clear Repair Serum
The True Botanicals Clear Repair Serum offers the best of both worlds, youthful looking skin and no more breakouts! It features hyaluronic acid, which is an extremely popular and super hydrating skincare ingredient. This serum also contains black willow bark extract to exfoliate and reveal smooth skin, and olive leaf extract that helps reduce breakouts and prevent free radical damage.
My favorite thing about the True Botanicals Clear Repair Serum is that it contains hyaluronic acid, which is probably my favorite skincare ingredient ever! It keeps skin hydrated, but doesn’t make skin feel heavy, oily, or cause breakouts. (So basically a dream for those of us with oily skin!). I’ve noticed when I use this serum, along with the Pure Radiance Oil, that my skin looks amazing! Not to mention, I’m totally surprised by how hydrated, without looking or feeling oily, my skin looks!
Is True Botanicals Worth It?
I would be lying if I said that these products from True Botanicals didn’t change my skin for the better. After only a little over a month of use, I’ve seen drastic improvements in my skin.
Not only does my skin look and feel more hydrated and healthy, but my acne scars are also becoming way less noticeable! My skin hasn’t been as oily, and instead looks fresh and glowy. And I’ve been loving the way my skin looks so much that I’ve been going makeup free much more often!
After giving these products from True Botanicals a try, I have to say that I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for high quality, luxurious, and clean skincare products.
A major thing that stands out about True Botanicals skincare products is that they work really well. Their products actually produce the results they promise, which is refreshing especially for someone who has a hard time finding good skincare products. (AKA me, and probably anyone else with super sensitive skin).
It’s really nice to know that when using products from True Botanicals you don’t need to worry about whether what you’re putting on your skin is actually harmful or not. Their products are made from natural ingredients that are truly beneficial and work to make skin healthy and beautiful. So one less thing to worry about!
I’ve always said using high quality skincare is one of the best decisions anyone can make. I know for sure I’ll be using the high quality skincare products from True Botanicals. And if you’re looking for amazing products, whatever your skin concerns may be, I really recommend trying some out from this natural, luxurious, and innovative brand!
