Sometimes I feel like many in the beauty community only stick to a few staple products. I’m always hearing raves about the same products over and over again. Now, obviously these products that are talked about constantly are great but there are so many other wonderful products out there that are kind of left in the shadows. Today I’m going to share with you a few drugstore products that I personally love that no one really seems to talk about. Enjoy!
1. Physicians Formula Super BB All-in-1 Powder: $13.99
It makes me so sad to see no one ever talk about this. This is my go-to for days where I don’t want to wear any makeup at all but I still desperately need coverage, (curse you acne prone skin!). I use the shade light/medium and it is perfect for me. It provides pretty decent coverage and the formula is feels more creamy than powdery. This is also SPF 30, so it’s become a favorite of mine when I hit the beach.
2. Maybelline Master Conceal Camouflaging Concealer: $8.99
No drugstore concealer seems to work well on my skin, and spending more than $10 on one is just not possible for me at the moment, so when I found this concealer and tried it out, I was ecstatic. It actually hides the dark circles under my eyes and doesn’t crease on me at all. It’s full coverage and blends well, it’s a clear win in my book!
3. Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Retro Glam Mascara: $5.99
This isn’t the first time I’ve talked about this mascara on my blog and probably won’t be the last. I absolutely love this mascara! The wand is perfect and it never, ever clumps on me. I also never have any fall out with it. Whenever I use this mascara it looks like I’m wearing false lashes, it lengthens and adds tons of volume. It’s just a pain in the butt to remove, but that’s fine with me.
4. CoverGirl Tru Blend Bronzer: $9.99
This bronzer is perfect. It looks natural, it blends easily, and it lasts all day. Plus you get a good amount of product for the price. It’s perfect for adding a little bit of color to your face and it never looks muddy. Oh and remember ladies, don’t contour with a bronzer, use a contouring powder instead!
5. Milani Stay Put Brow Color: $6.99
Finding brow products that work for me is so hard. My brows are an ashy blonde color and everything I’ve tried in the past has been way too warm toned for them. I use this brow product everyday in the color 02 Natural Taupe and it’s perfect. The formula is amazing and my brows look natural not boxy. It’s very easy to apply and I never accidentally over apply which can happen with other brow products. You also get lots of product for the price, I’ve had mine for two months and still have tons left!
What do you think about these underrated drugstore makeup products? Do you love them or hate them? What drugstore makeup products do you think are underrated? Let me know in the comments, I would love to hear what you think and I’m always down to try out some new products I may have never heard about.
